Emberline Arena
Hold the field. Between every round you draft one tool and only one, so the run you finish is never the run you started.

Play Emberline Arena
The game opens on its own full-screen page and runs entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded, nothing is installed, and your browser's back button returns you here.
How it plays
Press Start a run and the field offers you three tools. Take one. Each changes how the next fight goes — reach, rate, splitting shots, a shield that refills between rounds, a bloom that slows whatever walks into it.
Then the round begins. Threats close from the edges, your mark fires on its own, and you survive by moving. Clear the field and you draft again. Take a hit too many and the ember line goes dark, and you start over with a different set of choices.
A run is a few minutes. Your best round count is kept in this browser, on your machine — there is no account, no leaderboard, and nothing to sign up for.
